01.

COMPONENT DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE (DFM)

This process can begin at any point in the design stage. A discovery meeting will be arranged on email or on a call. 

If it's determined that there is value for the client in the DFM service then an NDA will be signed and the number of components needing DFM work and the process will be discussed.     

A quote will be sent out outlining the DFM package and the number of hours required to complete the package.     

Work will begin on the package after quote is accepted with regular email updates on progress

Once complete a full write up document will be given to the customer and if desired a review meeting will be arranged to explore follow up questions.

02.

MATERIAL SELECTION

Material selection can be arranged alongside DFM work or as a separate package. This begins with a discovery meeting

A quote will be sent outlining the scope of work. This can include, fibre options, resin options, core options and component weights.  

An NDA can be signed and CAD exchanged, or the geometry can be held by the customer and the design presented as images (package extent dependant). Work can begin after quote is accepted 

Once complete a full write up document will be given to the customer and if desired a review meeting will be arranged to explore follow up questions.

03.

PROCESS OPTIMISATION

Process optimisation looks into consumables, moulding times and laminating times. the aim is a quantitative understanding of the benefits of compression moulding.    

After a discovery meeting an NDA will be signed and a scope of work will be presented alongside a quote  

once the quote is accepted a request for information pack will be sent over that will allow a analysis in current processes and comparison to the proposed compression moulding route. 

Final results will be presented as optimised process times and alterations to current processes that can help to improve efficiency.
